Nautilus Creative Space is more than just a building that houses artists. We are a community, a whānau of sorts, in which respect and sensitivity to the artistic and personal needs of others are the cornerstones of our culture.
We see Nautilus as our collective creative space, our artistic sanctuary, and our collaborative adventure.
We are looking for members to join Nautilus who are community-driven and passionate about art; members who can bring their creative contributions and time to our kaupapa, and our co-op.
In return we offer: 24-hour access to studio facilities, free tea/coffee, wifi, shared art supplies, as well as the ability to run art and music-related events.
For use of the co-working space including tables, personal drawers for art supplies, use of the main facilities, and first dibs on available studios – $30 per week
From $70 to $95 per week (as available)
We ask that members contribute a little time to help run the cooperative through sharing jobs, and attendance at monthly meetings, working bees. This helps the trust to operate, and allows our community to thrive.
If this sounds interesting to you, please get in touch at creative.space@nautilus.org.nz or pop down to one of our open working bees on the first Saturday of every month to check out the space.
